Geogrid-Geotextile Composite
Product Introduction
Geogrid-Geotextile Composite is a powerful composite material developed by GEOLEED for high-standard roads and heavy-duty foundations.
It is composed of a plastic geogrid (providing tensile strength) and a non-woven geotextile (providing filtration and isolation) bonded together using a hot-melt or adhesive bonding process.
Geogrid layer (skeleton): Typically a biaxially oriented polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (HDPE) geogrid. It acts like the "steel reinforcement" in construction, responsible for load-bearing and tensile strength.
Geotextile layer (skin): Typically a needle-punched non-woven fabric. It acts like a "filter," responsible for soil retention and drainage.
Working Principle
Working Principle: 1+1 > 2 This material simultaneously solves two core pain points in foundation treatment:
The "interlocking" effect of the geogrid: The large pore size of the geogrid allows the upper layer of crushed stone to embed itself, forming a stable "composite slab." This way, when large trucks drive over it, the pressure is evenly distributed, preventing the road surface from cracking or forming ruts.
The "barrier" effect of the geotextile: It blocks the underlying soft soil, preventing mud from being squeezed upwards into the crushed stone layer. Without this layer of geotextile, the crushed stone would slowly sink into the soil, and the load-bearing capacity of the geogrid would fail.
Drainage and pressure reduction: The geotextile can quickly drain accumulated water from the foundation, while the geogrid ensures that the structure does not shift during drainage.

Application Case
Application
Application Scenarios (Highly Recommended for Foreign Trade):
Soft Soil Foundation Reinforcement: Especially suitable for unstable soil types such as those found along the coast, in swamps, and on the edges of deserts.
Road Reconstruction (Asphalt to Cement Conversion): Laying asphalt on existing cement roads to prevent reflective cracking of newly laid cement or asphalt.
Airport Runway and Railway Subgrade: Coping with extremely high dynamic loads and preventing subgrade deformation.
Heavy-Duty Yards: Suitable for port container yards, mining logistics parks, and other surfaces requiring heavy load bearing.
