Product Introduction

Product Introduction
Composite Drainage Net is a high-performance geocomposite consisting of a three-dimensional HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene) drainage core thermally bonded with a non-woven geotextile on one or both sides. This integrated structure combines the high fluid-flow capacity of the geonet with the excellent filtration and separation properties of the geotextile, offering a superior alternative to traditional sand and gravel drainage layers.

Working Principle

The composite drainage net functions as a complete Subsurface Drainage System:

Filtration & Separation: The outer geotextile layers allow water to pass into the core while preventing soil particles from entering and clogging the system.

Planar Drainage (Transmissivity): The 3D core features a series of intersecting ribs that create "open channels." These channels facilitate the rapid lateral flow of water (planar flow) even under high compressive loads.

Protection: The thick, cushioned structure protects primary liners (such as geomembranes) from puncture damage caused by sharp rocks or uneven subgrades.

Application Case

Application

Landfill Systems: Used in leachate collection and leak detection layers for landfill liners and final caps.

Basement & Foundation Drainage: Installed vertically against foundation walls to relieve hydrostatic pressure and prevent water ingress.

Tunnel & Underground Construction: Efficiently manages seepage between the rock face and the inner concrete lining.

Road & Railway Engineering: Provides a capillary break and drainage layer to prevent frost heave and stabilize the subgrade.

Retaining Walls: Placed behind walls to ensure rapid water discharge and reduce lateral earth pressure.
