Product Introduction
Soft Permeable Pipe is a high-efficiency drainage material composed of a high-strength spring steel wire coil coated with anti-corrosion materials as the structural frame, covered by a high-tenacity synthetic fiber or non-woven geotextile filter layer. Its unique "all-around" seepage surface allows for 360-degree water absorption, making it superior to traditional perforated rigid pipes in complex soil conditions.
Working Principle
The soft permeable pipe operates through a Pressure-Gradient Filtration system:
All-Aspect Seepage: Unlike rigid pipes that rely on specific holes, the entire surface of the soft pipe acts as a filter. Water penetrates through the fabric from all directions.
Capillary Absorption: The fiber layer utilizes capillary action to draw moisture from the surrounding soil into the pipe interior.
Anti-Clogging Filtration: The geotextile outer layer effectively filters out fine soil particles while allowing water to pass, preventing the internal "core" from silting up.
Flexible Discharge: Once inside, water is rapidly discharged through the hollow center, supported by the steel wire coil which prevents the pipe from collapsing under soil pressure.
