Product Introduction
Drainage Board (also known as Dimpled Drain Sheet) is a high-performance geocomposite manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE). It features a unique dimpled structure that creates a permanent air gap between the structure and the backfill, providing excellent drainage and protection for underground foundations and landscaping projects.
Working Principle
The drainage board operates on the principle of hydrostatic pressure relief.
Water Collection: The dimpled surface creates a hollow chamber (the "drainage core") that collects seepage water from the soil.
Pressure Reduction: By providing a clear path for water to flow, it prevents water pressure from building up against the structural wall or floor.
Gravity Flow: The water is guided by gravity through the air gap down to a perimeter drain or discharge system, keeping the structure dry and ventilated.
